Rooted Facilitators

The Role of a Rooted Facilitator

  • Use the Rooted guide to help people draw into a deeper relationship with Christ. The expectation is that you have a current, growing relationship yourself
  • Make an eleven week commitment to walk alongside a Rooted group, prioritizing the group and its activities over other activities

  • Complete at least one session of Rooted before becoming a facilitator
  • Complete a leader assessment
  • Complete a two hour facilitator training with the Rooted Leader
  • Have the time available from other activities so that Rooted will not become a burden

  • Spend three to four hours every Sunday meeting with the Rooted Leader and your group
  • Email your group weekly and be willing to connect on an individual basis as the situation arises or you feel led
  • Lead or help coordinate a relational serve event for your group
  • Complete daily Rooted devotions while planning out the questions for your weekly meeting
  • Be a regular attender of Sunday morning gatherings
