Senior Adults

The senior adults at Northwest Christian Church call themselves the Prime Timers. This group is open to those in their fifties or older and those who enjoy socializing with this age group. The goal of the Prime Time ministry is:

  • To grow intellectually and spiritually in the knowledge, use, and enjoyment of the Bible
  • To provide opportunities for Christian community, cultural and historical enrichment, and entertainment
  • To provide practical and usable information on health, safety, financial, legal, and environmental concerns faced by seniors.
  • To just have fun together!

Home Community Group

2:00pm Tuesdays (September through June). This group is currently meeting at the church.

Many of the Prime Timers attend this Community Group, while some attend other groups. All of these groups share life and prayer requests with each other, pray together, study scripture together, and care for each other.

For more information on Community Groups, please contact Drew Harris

At 9:00am on the first Monday of each month (second Monday if the first is a holiday) the Prime Time group meets at Elmer’s Restaurant, 14055 SW Pacific Hwy, Tigard, for a no-host breakfast and community time.

At 11:30am on the third Thursday of every month, September through May, the Prime Timers come together for a luncheon. During this luncheon they enjoy delicious food prepared by a group of dedicated volunteers, community time together, and often some kind of planned program.

Due to COVID-19, the April and May luncheons have been postponed.
